Race for Survival- Caballo Blanco Marathon

On March 1st, Willy ran alongside the Tarahumara at the rugged Caballo Blanco marathon. The course was harrowing- involving climbing up and down mountains on narrow, rocky trails. He was impressed by their remarkable athletic abilities: 60-year-old Tarahumara women wearing skirts and thin plastic sandals left him in the dust! This brief documentary tells the story of the Tarahumara people’s determination to run and feed their families. Our family feels honored to serve them at Hospital Misión Tarahumara.
